📸 The Final Shutter: Anastatica & Photo Spectrum Wrap-Up🏆

Well, folks, the pixels have been counted, the judges have squinted until their eyes went cross, and the results are finally in! The Photo Spectrum international photography contest, masterfully organized by the Anastatica photo group from Skopje, North Macedonia, officially wrapped up on March 15, 2026!
And what a glorious battlefield of creativity it was!

This year’s edition was no joke. We’re talking a whopping NINE sections instead of the usual spread! The battlegrounds included Women, People, Open Color, Open Monochrome, Nature, Birds, Travel, Life, and Photojournalism. And with IAAP 2026/230 certification backing it up, you know this wasn’t your average weekend shootout!
The exact participant count? There were 73 approved participants from 35 countries around the world.
If you thought one medal was impressive, think again! This contest handed out awards like candy on Halloween. We’re talking IAAP Gold, Silver, Bronze E-Certificates, NPUM Gold, Silver, Bronze E-Certificates, SALON Gold, Silver, Bronze E-Certificates—plus honorary certificates and diplomas coming out of the wazoo!
The judging panel—a mystical trio consisting of Klea Kiprianou (Cyprus), Dimitar Chungovski (North Macedonia), and Ajar Setiadi (Indonesia)—had the unenviable task of picking the best of the best. They judged remotely on color-calibrated equipment (because even judges need perfect pixels), looking for Impact, Creativity, Technical Quality, and Composition.
Let’s give a massive round of applause to the heroes who froze time and stole our hearts: Tinneke Layadi (Indonesia) absolutely dominated! She snagged IAAP Gold in Nature with “Snack Time” and IAAP Gold in Color Open with “Mirror of Majesty”. This woman collected medals like they were PokĂ©mon—gotta snap ’em all!

Yusuf Tatliturk (Turkey) took IAAP Gold in People with “Enthusiasm” and Silver in Open Color with “Sea of Scarlet” .

Irina Markova (Kazakhstan) earned IAAP Silver in Women with “Unspoken Notes” and Bronze in Open Color with “Two Violins” .

Ryszard Lomnicki (Ireland) snagged IAAP Silver in Monochrome with “Vatican” .

Ranga Edirisinghe (Sri Lanka) won IAAP Gold in Birds with “Hungry Chorus” .

Mohotti Mudiyanselage Ravindra Chinthaka Bandara (Sri Lanka) took IAAP Gold in Travel with “City of Flowers” .

Aleksandar Tomovski (North Macedonia) scored Club Gold in Women with “Genesis” and Silver in People with “Gabrovo”—a hometown hero!

So, massive congratulations to all the winners, participants, and brave souls who submitted their art. You told stories, froze moments, and made us all feel incredibly untalented—in the best way possible!

Until next year, keep shooting, keep editing, and remember: the world needs your vision. 📸✨
